DECEMBER 14, 2010 (DAY 166)

We're going to consider this to be Maezy's first word!!  I'm not going to tell you what it was...you'll just have to watch the videos!

Back to the old grind!

DECEMBER 11, 2010 (DAY 163)

Today was my little brother's college graduation!  I'll try to sum up his accomplishments in a few words...only in college for 3 1/2 years, never had less than a 4.0 GPA, graduated summa cum laude.  WOW!!  Pretty impressive, huh?  Chris is such a wonderful person.  He may have the biggest brain, but he also has the biggest heart.  We could not be more proud, and I mean that.  This is such an amazing accomplishment!  Here are a few pics from that very special day.

DECEMBER 10, 2010 (DAY 162) - IN LOVING MEMORY OF EVA MAE LIBBEY

What a blessing in disguise that we were able to make this trip.  My paternal grandmother, Eva Libbey, was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in January, and treatment was not an option, since she was too weak to go through chemo or radiation.  She's had some medical issues over the course of the last year.  My father is the most amazing person in the world, and he took better care of her than anyone could ever ask for.  Maezy and I went to visit Granny on Friday, and Granny lit up when she saw her.  Maezy lit up as well!  She was full of smiles for her Great Granny Eve. Granny passed away this Monday, and she will be greatly missed.

DECEMBER 9, 2010 (DAY 161)

Maezy and I made our 2nd trip down to New Braunfels.  My baby brother graduated from St. Edwards University on Saturday (12/11), and Mom & Dad were so sweet to fly us down there, so that we could be a part of this special occasion.  Maezy absolutely LOVES her Cousin Elliott.  The entire trip, she wanted to touch him, talk to him, play with him...she was so fascinated by him!  And, I cannot get over how awesome he was with her.  He had to participate in EVERYTHING that involved Maezy.  He wanted to play with her, bathe her, feed her, change her...he needs a brother or sister (he informed me that he'd like a brother).  Here are a few pics from Thursday night of the 3 children (yes, Mia had to be a part of it too).  I love my Pup.  He is the most amazing little boy!
