Look at the adorable outfit that Aunt Janie, Uncle Gary, and Miss Anne got me!  Maybe today will be the day that I don't get called 'big guy'!

JANUARY 26, 2011 (DAY 209)

We got a package from Grammy in the mail today!  We were so excited to see so many keepsakes from Granny Eve.  One of the things we received...and, the ONLY thing that Maezy is allowed to touch...is 'Uniqua' (from the show, Backyardigans).  Now, Frank wanted to name her 'Alfred', and give her a boy's voice, because she is wearing a pirate eye patch...but, I decided that we shouldn't change anything about her, since Granny Eve loved her for being Uniqua.  So, I did some research on her, and she:

• Is curious, self-confident, and high-spirited. 
• Is almost always sweet and friendly, though her strong opinions and occasional stubbornness get in the way of her relationships.
• Is a tomboy
• Often imagines herself in roles requiring brains and fortitude (scientist, pirate captain, etc.)
• Loves books

Sound like someone we know, and love?
