As much as Maezy hates clothing, I didn't see the sense in purchasing an expensive Halloween costume, with the fear that she would refuse to wear it.  Well, Frank convinced me that since she'll only be two once, I should go ahead and at least try to dress her up.  So, I took her to a costume shop yesterday, and they only had one costume left in her size.  This year, she is going to be Little Red Riding Hood.  She doesn't seem too thrilled about the idea, so we'll see how it goes tomorrow!  At the shop, the only thing that she was interested in were the costume sunglasses...

Later in the evening, we were trying to think of new things to do, so we built our first tent.  Here are Frank and Maezy hiding out!

And, to end the evening, someone stole my late-night snack...chic loves cashews!

Don't be fooled...this really is a completely different day, even though she's 'wearing' the same thing! 

Maezy does something that reminds me of myself, when I was a little girl.  My Mom would take us to Dittlinger Memorial Library every Saturday morning, and let us check out books to read.  There are so many times that I would take all of my books home, sit in the middle of my bed, arrange the books in a circle around me, and just read the afternoon away...I know, PSYCHO.  Maezy has been doing the same thing lately!  She likes to surround herself with her animals and books, and just read.

Frank was out of town, for business, last week and Maezy REALLY missed her Daddy.  She was SO excited to see him when we got home Friday evening...the two were inseparable all weekend.

Aside from her Daddy, Maezy's three other loves are Blankie, Bunny, and Kitty.  These three go with us EVERYWHERE we go, so I wanted to capture her with a few pics of Bunny and Kitty.

Almost an entire year has passed since the last post...I know, I know :(.  What a whirlwind of a year it has been.  When I took a different job, at the end of last year, I had a very difficult time balancing my work and personal lives.  I am grateful for the experience, and have learned not only a lot more about accounting/finance, but some valuable life lessons as well.  For those of you who do not know, I was offered a position with NetApp (formerly LSI), and have been back for an amazing six weeks now.  What an incredible, fantastic blessing!!!  Walking back into that building was like walking into my home away from home, here in Wichita.  The people have been like family to me, since we moved up here.I could not be more thankful for this opportunity that God has given to me.  I know my husband and daughter are extremely thankful as well.  As a result of this transition, I will be blogging again!!  As I told Maezy last night, when I was taking these pictures, 'We're back in business, lil lady!!'.  We love you all.  Thank you for the many prayers and thoughts over the last year.  We couldn't have made it through without any of you.
