I am very pleased to report that Maezy did not have a single potty accident on Saturday or Sunday (she even used a public restroom for the first time).  She only had one accident on Monday evening (she was mad at me, and Frank and I swear she did it on purpose), and no accidents yesterday :).  It's only been a week and a half, and she's been doing an AMAZING job!  There are two other two-year-olds at her daycare, one of which is currently potty-training with her (the other tried it a few months ago, but it didn't go so well).  The one currently training with her has, unfortunately, pooped in her pants every single day for the last three weeks.  Apparently, this morning, the two girls were in the bathroom together, and after Maezy went potty, she told the other little girl 'That's how it works, Harper'.  Lol.

Meet Buddy, The Elf.  Buddy came to visit us from the North Pole. Every night, after watching Maezy throughout theday, or hearing about how she behaved outside of the house, he flies back to the North Pole to inform Santa of her good/bad behavior.  If she has more bad reports than good, she will be getting dirty rocks for Christmas this year...but, if she has mostly good reports, she will get presents.

Well, day 2 of potty training went pretty well.  She only had one accident at Debbie's, and one accident at home...she was still a little frustrated though.

But, baby Finn came over to play, so she quickly got over it.

So...we officially have a big girl now, and not a baby :(.  When I picked up Maezy from daycare yesterday, Debbie informed me that she had not worn a diaper all day, and that she had peed in the potty.  We've both known for a while now that M's been ready, but I've been stalling on pulling the trigger on potty-training.  To reward M for her achievement, I took her to the toy store last night.  She played for a good hour, and made it all the way home, and into the kitchen, before she peed in her pants.  Oopsie.  She was quite upset about it, because she hates to be messy.  This morning when I went to get her, she had not wet her diaper (Debbie informed me that she can wear a diaper at bedtime until she grasps the gig).  So, I put her on her big girl potty, where she proceeded to talk my ear off.  I walked away for a minute to get her daddy, so that he could see her sitting on the potty, and when I returned, she had peed :).  She was very proud of herself!  So, she is not wearing a diaper again today!  Don't worry...I took three extra pairs of pants to daycare this morning!  We'll keep you posted on her progress!

Well, I didn't get around to snapping any shots of Maezy last night.  We all went to Hobby Lobby to look at Christmas decorations, and then out to dinner.  By the time we got home, it was already time for bath, and then bedtime.  So instead of an update, you get to see a photo comparison of father and daughter.
