JULY 9, 2011 (DAY 8)
The whole reason for our trip to Texas was to celebrate Maezy's 1st birthday with family, and boy did we celebrate! GG, or Great Granny Bartsch, hosted the bash, and it was perfect! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE came. We are SO grateful that we got to see everyone, and so blessed that y'all wanted to spend time with Maezy! Thank you ALL for everything! We love y'all!

JULY 8, 2011 (DAY 7)
We all know how much Maezy LOVES to cuddle soft items, right? Well, I wanted to get her a pillow pet SO bad, but refused to pay $20 for one...well, while we were in Texas, guess who decided to get her one? That's right...Grammy & Grampy! It's name is Shaggy.
Oh, but that wasn't all...they also got her some new pajamas (desperately needed), a cool, singing ladybug toy, a cute halter outfit, and a gift card...too much, guys!! Here she is opening all of her gifts.

JULY 6, 2011 (DAY 5)
This was Maezy's very first time to try Tex-Mex! She had chicken fajitas, tortillas, rice, beans, and shredded cheese. Everything was a hit, except for the beans. I tried giving them to her twice, and both times she cried because she couldn't figure out how to spit them out!
